A Phenomenally Powerful Alternative to Touch Therapy

In our fast-paced and disconnected world, touch therapy is a fundamental aspect of human health and well-being. Physical, emotional, and spiritual health all depend on our ability to connect with others through touch. However, many barriers can prevent people from accessing this vital form of care, such as psychological trauma, lack of self-confidence, physical symptoms, neurodivergent syndromes, or simply personal preference and personality type.

To overcome these barriers, a little-known yet incredibly powerful therapy known as Rebozo Massage offers a solution. This massage therapy circumvents some of the key issues that may prevent people from experiencing the benefits of touch therapy, such as the need to remove clothing, feeling overwhelmed by skin-to-skin contact, or experiencing chronic pain that makes it difficult to tolerate hands-on treatments.
Rebozo Massage is performed fully clothed and involves a type of dance between the client and practitioner. The practitioner uses a strong length of fabric to cradle the client's body, slowly and gently rocking it to bring the client's energy from a heightened state to a peaceful, meditative calm. The dance progresses from a standing position to seated and kneeling positions, until the client is fully relaxed and lying on their back. At this point, the body has been relieved of stress, tension, and stagnant energy, and is ready to be drawn even deeper into relaxation with a guided meditation and release.

This massage therapy is particularly special to me, as I developed it after struggling to find any treatments that could support me during the worst symptoms of my own chronic illnesses and disabilities. I understand what it's like to be unable to tolerate touch, to feel overwhelmed by skin-to-skin interaction, and to not want your body witnessed by another person.
That's why I'm passionate about bringing Rebozo Massage to my clients. I believe that everyone deserves the chance to experience the benefits of touch therapy, no matter what barriers they may face. With Rebozo Massage, I can support you in your perfect human state, as you are, without any bells or whistles, just deep, profound connection and results.

In conclusion, Rebozo Massage is a phenomenal alternative to touch therapy that breaks down barriers and enhances physical, emotional, and spiritual health. If you're looking for a safe and effective way to experience the benefits of touch therapy, consider Rebozo Massage. I can't wait to work with you and support you on your journey to a more vibrant life.

    Nyssa Craig

Hi friend, thanks so much for hopping on over here for a wee squizz at my many musings!

I'm Nyssa, a Brighton-based and Scottish-born massage therapist, placenta remedies specialist, birth support worker (full-spectrum doula), and fertility specialist.

I specialise in providing services to those often underserved by existing practitioners - particularly those who have felt excluded from mainstream service providers for ANY reason, such as weight, sexuality, gender identity, disability, neuroatypical processing, et cetera.
This blog is somewhere you can find my rants on all the above topics (and so much more - love a good rant, me!), as well as more information on my areas of specialism, given the frequent lack of discussion thereon.

So have a browse, and drop me a comment to let me know your own thoughts!
